Equalinrights created this Dgroup in January 2009, to support and facilitate a follow-up discussion initiated at the Land and Indigenous Peoples’ Rights Workshop held in Nairobi from 5-9 December 2008. This Dgroup aims to encourage and sustain interaction amongst the participants of the workshop and other interested persons or organizations to share, discuss and exchange experiences and approaches in the struggle of indigenous peoples’ land rights as well as to plan joint activities to amongst participants.
