The discussion list provides ICT for Development focal points of African governments with a forum to discuss issues related to the National Information and Communication Infrastructure (NICI) policies and plans development process as well as development of sub-regional and regional ICT strategies for Regional Economic Communities (RECs), the African Union (AU) and its NEPAD programme. It also deals with Internet Governance issues in relation to ICT ministries and other stakeholders.
