The main objective is to gather the African perspective that will contribute to the shaping of the global agricultural research agenda. This is part of the process in preparation of the global conference on agricultural research for development (GCARD) in 2010. Each of the regional fora around the globe is conducting reviews and online discussion on similar topic. FARA has been assigned to facilitate the Africa consultation.
