Welcome to the Common Oceans Deep-sea Fisheries (DSF) Project Technical Forum.

This Forum aims to promote discussions and sharing of information, initiatives and lessons learnt related to the sustainable management of deep-sea fisheries (DSF), by bringing together a wide variety of stakeholders.

The group focuses primarily on:

  • New technologies to support onboard data collection
  • Application of the precautionary approach to fisheries management
  • Ecosystem approach to fisheries management

However, members are welcome to share any innovative advancements in the management of DSF, in the form of news articles, publications, or discussion points.
